Asking Prices for the project’s 60 condominiums units will run from $14 million – $100 million

GRS Group recently provided an environmental site assessment on JDS Development and Property Markets Group’s greatly anticipated skyscraper at 111 West 57th Street in Manhattan.  Once completed, the mega-tower will stand 1,428 feet tall and will house 60 condominiums.  Prices for the condominium units are expected to start at $14 million, according to the project’s new website.

Often referred to as the “slenderest tower in the world” or “stairway to heaven”, 111 West 57th Street was designed by SHoP architects and is expected to be the city’s tallest residential tower and the tallest building ever built in NY without union labor. Completion is slated for 2018.

Keep an eye out for other mega-towers in development on West 57th Street.  For example, the 1775-foot Nordstrom Tower is under construction just one block to the west and will house residential, hotel and retail.  Yes, the NYC skyline is continuing its reach skyward.

GRS | Corteq Directors Matthew McGovern and Catherine Campana spearheaded the environmental assessment.
