Ms. Noreen Clindinning

During her 30 years in the industry, Ms. Clindinning’s career has grown with the real estate market. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Development, she worked as a Project Manager for a mid-sized development company and went on to join one of Canada’s largest law firms as in-house consultant to their real estate and environmental departments. During this period, Ms. Clindinning developed a keen understanding of the intricacies of real estate transactions.

In 1992, Ms. Clindinning relocated to Southern California and joined Project Resources Inc. (PRI); one of the leading firms providing engineering and environmental due diligence consulting services to the lending industry. As Managing Director, Ms. Clindinning was responsible for the day to day operations and served as the primary liaison with representatives from the secondary mortgage market including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. She was asked by both of these agencies to participate in the development of standards for small loan programs and seismic risk assessments. Between 1992 and 2000, she helped the firm grow to over $12 million in annual revenue.

In 2000, she joined National Assessment Corporation (NAC) as a Principal. Her responsibilities included client management and day-to-day management of a Project Management team. She focused primarily on the multifamily lending market and continued to participate in the development of industry guidelines and standards. In 2002, NAC was acquired by LandAmerica Financial Group under whose ownership she took on the responsibility for all domestic operations of LandAmerica Assessment Company and LandAmerica Valuation Corporation. In 2006, she received LandAmerica’s Achiever’s Circle Award for excellence in management and in 2007 she was selected to participate in LandAmerica’s Leadership Academy, an executive program run in conjunction with the Robins School of Business as the University of Richmond. She was also a member of two multidisciplinary task forces at LandAmerica, one of which focused on developing strategy for new and related businesses.

Ms. Clindinning is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association, and Vistage International and has served on a number of boards and committees including the Clairemont Mesa Planning Committee and The Child’s Primary School Board of Trustees.
