Mr. Inman has 35 years of commercial real estate experience including real estate development, construction lending, mortgage banking, consulting, resolution of distressed commercial loan portfolios, and finally as the Chief Credit Officer for a New York Stock Exchange commercial real estate finance company. Mr. Inman retired effective 8-15-07 from Centerline Capital Group (formally known as ARCap REIT, Inc.) as Chief Credit Officer for the firm’s Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) and loan origination platforms. He was also responsible for the Credit Risk and Research Department. Prior to that position, Mr. Inman served as a Managing Director-Real Estate Due Diligence for ARCap REIT, Inc., where he was responsible for the management of the due diligence process, quality control, and relationships with issuers and loan originators, primarily insurance companies and Wall Street investment banking firms. ARCap was a fund manager on behalf of insurance companies and pension funds that invested in below investment grade CMBS. Centerline Capital Group now holds the below investment grade position in over $120 billion face amount in commercial real estate loans.
Mr. Inman formerly served as a Director of REMICap (predecessor to ARCap) since commencement of its operations and was responsible for establishing the comprehensive due diligence and analytical procedures. Mr. Inman assisted in the creation and implementation of ARCap’s proprietary “Base Case System” designed to facilitate “online” data management for commercial loans and properties, cash flows analysis, and portfolio stressing. Mr. Inman has served as President of two independently owned commercial mortgage banking firms, Holliday Mortgage and Woodmark, Inc., as well as Operating Partner of a national real estate development firm, Property Company of America. He received his BA in 1968 and his MBA in 1970, both from the University of Oklahoma.
