Business Development Director
With 10+ years in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Coyne brings considerable experience in the technical aspects of GRS Group service offerings, including commercial construction process, engineering assessments, environmental risk assessments, seismic reporting, survey requirements, valuation and cost segregation.
Mr. Coyne’s due diligence career started in the early 2000’s. He gained valuable experience in all aspects of commercial real estate transaction services during the market upswing of the mid 2000’s and later took a position as senior business development manager and regional vice president through 2009. In both roles, he was responsible for developing new client relationships and territories, negotiating and placing master service agreements, and improving company credentials. Mr. Coyne joined GRS Group in 2009 in San Francisco and relocated in 2011 to open the GRS office in Denver, CO.
Throughout his career Mr. Coyne has worked closely with many organizations in the commercial real estate industry as a future leader, committee member, conference planning and fundraising, and has served as a panel moderator. Mr. Coyne is well versed in real estate assessment guidelines and is relentless in client communications and follow up–always ensuring the services ordered meet the specific needs of each transaction.
Since moving to GRS Group, Mr. Coyne’s focus has been on business development and the generation and maintenance of relationships with clients, affiliates and industry colleagues. His clients consist of real estate lenders and investors nationwide including REITs, Life Insurance Companies, Private Equity Investors, Agency Lenders, Banks, Servicers and Mortgage Bankers.
